Environmental & Facilities Planning Engineer

Toyota North America is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Environmental & Facilities Planning Engineer. This role focuses on developing and implementing renewal strategies for facilities systems to meet 2050 initiatives and ensuring efficient infrastructure across North America.

Responsibilities

Lead renewal activities (equipment assessment through justification) of facility equipment
Support utility capacity analysis and report status for future projects
Collaborate with North American sites to identify equipment kaizen opportunities
Investigate customer feedback concerns and lead root cause analysis
Support maintenance and contingency plans for facility equipment

Qualification

Mechanical EngineeringHVAC SystemsData AnalysisCMMS ExperienceProfessional CertificationsKaizenMicrosoft ExcelMicrosoft PowerPointProblem-Solving

Required

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering or relevant engineering degree
At least 2 years of experience in maintenance, operation and installation of HVAC, Cooling Towers, Chillers, Air Compressors and other facility equipment
Strong problem-solving skills, kaizen and countermeasure development experience
Strong data analysis skill set
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to work up to 20% overtime when required
Ability to travel up to 20% when required

Preferred

Experience with Maximo or other CMMS (Computerized maintenance Management System)
Automotive manufacturing facilities experience
Professional Organization Certifications: Certified Facilities Manager (CFM), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), and/or Facilities Management Professional (FMP)
Experience with Word, Visio, and Project
