The Drill Crew Laborer plays a critical role in supporting HDD operations by assisting operators, preparing job sites, handling materials, and completing restoration work.

Responsibilities
Assist drill operators and locators with job site setup and teardown
Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment
Excavate and backfill manually using shovels and hand tools
Perform potholing/daylighting to expose underground utilities
Mix drilling fluids as directed
Operate small equipment such as tampers, vac units, and saws
Restore job sites through grading, raking, seeding, and sodding
Maintain clean, organized work areas and equipment
Follow all OSHA, company, and customer safety procedures
Immediately report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of experience in fiber optic or utility installation
Ability to follow direction from foreman and locator
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, and working in trenches
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Willingness to travel for out-of-town projects
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and physical
Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
Preferred
CDL Class A (preferred but not required)
