0+ years expTalent Bridge is hiring for a Commercial Concrete Estimator to support and expand a growing estimating team. This role involves preparing accurate estimates for commercial concrete projects and managing full-cycle bid delivery.

Responsibilities
Perform quantity takeoffs (SF/CY) for commercial concrete scopes including foundations, flatwork, paving, parking areas, and floors
Prepare detailed cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and production rates
Review and interpret drawings, specifications, addenda, and project documents
Develop and submit competitive bids and proposals while managing bid deadlines
Review subcontractor and supplier quotes; maintain cost benchmarks and pricing databases
Coordinate with operations teams to ensure smooth handoff after project award
Improve and maintain Excel-based estimating templates and workflows
Utilize estimating software to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams
Qualification
Required
Exposure to construction or estimating through internships or field experience preferred
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, structured workbooks, VLOOKUPs)
Ability to read plans and specifications and perform basic takeoffs
Willingness to learn estimating software (training provided)
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
Proven experience estimating commercial concrete projects ($250K–$2M+)
Strong background in foundations, flatwork, and large-scale concrete scopes
Full-cycle ownership of estimates, proposals, and operational handoff
Advanced Excel proficiency and estimating software experience
Ability to mentor junior estimators and improve internal estimating systems
Familiarity with the local market is a plus
