Heavy Civil Estimator

Responsibilities

Review plans, specifications, schedules, and bid documents
Perform quantity takeoffs and review cut/fill maps
Analyze site conditions and historical cost data
Coordinate subcontractor quotes and ensure full scope coverage
Submit RFIs and incorporate addenda and revisions
Collaborate with Business Development and the Head of Estimating
Pre-review and finalize bids prior to submission

Qualification

Construction EstimatingHeavy Civil ExperienceMicrosoft OfficeHCSSAnalytical SkillsIndependenceOrganizational SkillsCommunication SkillsTeamwork

Required

Experience estimating in a similar role (heavy civil for Commercial/Industrial projects)
5+ years of construction estimating experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HCSS
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred

Degree in a related field
