They are seeking an experienced Licensed Customs Broker to manage U.S. Customs operations and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities
Prepare and process customs entries for inbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) and Partner Government Agency (PGA) regulations
Maintain communication with clients to provide release updates and address inquiries
Problem-solve and coordinate with importers, CBP, PGAs to address shipment holds, exams, and other clearance-related issues
Classify a wide range of products for new and existing clients using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule
Track and transmit entries to U.S. Customs
Analyze and interpret import regulations, maintaining current knowledge of Tariff changes
Identify and implement procedures to minimize import duties as allowed under customs law
Prioritize time-sensitive shipments and client needs
Enter and maintain accurate shipment data within our internal technology systems
Produce and analyze ACE portal reports for both EPT Global and our clients
Maintaining professionalism through exceptional customer service, communication, and consistency
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience with a Customs House Broker/International Freight Forwarder
Strong working knowledge of both U.S. Customs and Partner Government Agency entry process, rules and regulations
Thorough familiarity with product classification, IEEPA, Sec. 232, customs valuation, customs regulations and Incoterms, etc
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage competing priorities
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Tech-savvy; experience with various software including Magaya Logistics, Zoho Creator, Microsoft Office Suite a plus
