Film high-quality short-form and long-form video content for social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and LinkedIn
Edit videos optimized for platform-specific formats, pacing, hooks, and retention
Capture b-roll, interviews, talking-head content, and real-world action footage
Direct shoots in real time and make creative decisions on the fly to improve performance
Apply a deep understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices
Structure content for reach, engagement, and watch time
Stay current with platform updates and emerging content formats
Write compelling hooks, captions, and on-screen text for social content
Collaborate on scripting and content outlines when needed
Adapt tone and messaging to fit different brands and audiences
Confidently guide business owners, founders, and team members during filming
Help subjects feel comfortable on camera and deliver natural performances
Act as a creative lead on set while maintaining professionalism and efficiency
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years of professional experience creating content for social media
Proven experience filming and editing social-first video content
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn
Demonstrated knowledge of social algorithms and viral content mechanics
A portfolio with multiple examples of high-performing or viral content
Experience writing captions, hooks, and short-form social copy
Comfortable directing and leading on-site content shoots
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
