Tooling Engineer and Mold Maker CAD CAM CNC - Full Time
Metro Moulded Parts has been a leader in rubber weatherstripping and seals for classic car restorations since 1918. The Tooling Engineer/Mold Maker will design and create tooling for classic cars, utilizing CAD/CAM software and CNC machines, while also testing the fit of parts on vintage vehicles.
Responsibilities
Reverse engineer parts using scan data (bring back what's been discontinued!)
Design aluminum compression molds and injection molds (single and multi-cavity)
Rapid prototype with our dedicated 3D printing room so you can check fit before you cut aluminum

Test-fit parts on classic cars in our nearby heated garage (yes, even in Minnesota winters)
Improve and repair existing tooling for continuous production
Keep things organized with files, revision notes, and documentation so the whole team wins
