Associate Professor - International Trade Law, Taxation Law and Technology Law
Monash Business School is seeking three Associate Professors to join their expanding team within the Department of Business Law and Taxation. The role involves providing academic leadership, designing and delivering educational experiences, supervising research candidates, and advancing the Department's research and teaching profile.
Research
Responsibilities
Provide academic leadership across undergraduate and postgraduate programs
Design, develop, and deliver high-quality learning experiences - lectures, tutorials, workshops, practical sessions, and field or studio activities
Coordinate course materials that inspire and challenge students
Supervise honours, postgraduate, and PhD candidates
Conduct original, impactful research leading to high-quality publications and competitive grant success
Contribute to collaborative research projects
Actively participate in departmental, faculty, and professional committees
Qualification
Required
Strong record of high-quality research publications in International Trade Law, Taxation Law, or Technology Law
Success in securing external research funding
Proven experience supervising postgraduate research students
Contributing to research training programs
Commitment to teaching excellence across both core and specialist areas
Ability to mentor staff and students effectively
Proven record of leadership on academic committees
Talent for building productive, collaborative relationships across the University, the profession, and the wider national and international academic community
