The role involves translating system specifications into a functional application, designing secure web applications, and providing ongoing maintenance and support.

Responsibilities
Translating existing system specifications and workflows into a functional software application
Designing and implementing a secure, scalable, role-based web application (administrator and practitioner access)
Developing backend logic for:
Rule-based compliance computation
Jurisdictional configuration modules
Evidence/document intake and validation
Audit trail generation and reporting
Implementing frontend dashboards and user interfaces consistent with professional, regulatory-use standards
Supporting iterative development, testing, bug fixes, and feature refinements
Providing ongoing maintenance, updates, and technical support as the platform evolves
Documenting code, system architecture, and deployment procedures
Coordinating on version control, deployment environments, and security best practices
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated experience developing production-grade web applications
Strong proficiency in modern backend and frontend frameworks (e.g., Python/Django or Flask, Node.js, React, Angular, or comparable stacks)
Experience with role-based access control (RBAC)
Experience with secure authentication and authorization
Experience with database design (relational and/or NoSQL)
Experience with API development and integration
Ability to work independently and deliver clean, well-documented code
Professional communication skills and reliability in a subcontractor relationship
Willingness to execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
Willingness to execute an Intellectual Property Assignment Agreement confirming that all work product is a 'work made for hire' and owned exclusively by SUN INC
Acknowledgment that the software relates to a patent-pending invention and involves confidential proprietary materials
Agreement to maintain strict confidentiality regarding system design, functionality, and business strategy
Preferred
Familiarity with compliance-driven, rules-based, or regulated-industry software systems (e.g., legal, healthcare, finance, government)
