Responsibilities
Be comfortable to meet one-on-one with clients and advise on the tax preparation process
Enter client’s personal and financial data into Drake Tax Software
Analyze documents and financial data submitted to maximize the client’s outcome
Adhere to company standards and procedures for filing individual and business income taxes
Responsible to electronically prepare and submit tax returns in a timely manner
Inspect all tax forms for completeness and accuracy
Ensure confidentiality by following company guidelines and procedures
Qualification
Required
High school diploma required
Minimum of 3 years' experience in tax preparation
Familiar with using Drake Tax Software is a must
Aware of new tax laws and changes
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases
Ability to speak Spanish is a must
PTIN is required or willing to obtain
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
Have a PTIN or willing to obtain one with the IRS is a plus
Enrolled Agent is a plus but not required
