Chief Advancement Officer, HomeRise (San Francisco)

HomeRise is a nonprofit organization focused on transforming the lives of individuals experiencing homelessness through supportive housing and essential services. They are seeking a Chief Advancement Officer to lead fundraising, communications, and external engagement strategies, working closely with the CEO and Board to enhance the organization's visibility and impact. The CAO will oversee all aspects of fundraising and advancement operations, aiming to raise $2–$3 million annually.

Responsibilities

Lead fundraising, strategic communications, donor stewardship, and advancement operations
Grow private fundraising and elevate the organization’s visibility and impact across the Bay Area
Work closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and contract support

Required

At least five years of progressive leadership experience in fundraising, advancement, or external affairs, including three years of direct team management
