Social Media Manager (Contract Position)
Cherry Creative is a modern agency looking for a Social Media Manager to support content planning and community management for various brands. The role involves executing content calendars, driving engagement, and collaborating with the founder to enhance brand voices across social media platforms.

Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day social media execution for assigned client accounts
Schedule and publish content across platforms (primarily Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn)
Assist with content creation, content planning and monthly content calendars
Write on-brand captions and short-form copy
Monitor comments, DMs, and basic community engagement
Track performance metrics and assist with simple reporting (engagement, reach, growth)
Stay up to date on platform trends, formats, and best practices
Collaborate with internal team on creative direction and campaign ideas
Support ad-hoc social tasks as needed as accounts grow
Qualification
Required
1–3 years experience managing social media for brands, creators, or agencies
Short-form video editing experience
Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok (posting, formats, trends, engagement)
Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts
Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines
Familiarity with Google Suite, Slack and Asana
Basic understanding of social analytics and performance tracking
Proactive mindset — you bring ideas, not just execution
Preferred
Experience working with consumer, lifestyle, or DTC brands
Agency experience
Interest in growth, branding, and creative strategy
