Responsibilities
You will be expected to assist with overseeing Schinkai Law’s (the “Firm”) operations across Michigan, working in state court, federal court, and tribal court
This includes working on marketing, client retention, legal services, trial preparation, other trial activities, and other functions that are critical to the day-to-day operations of running a personal injury law firm
Additionally, your duties will likely evolve based on the firm’s needs and decisions made by the partnership
Qualification
Required
You must be a licensed attorney in Good Standing in the State of Michigan
You must reside in Michigan, but do not need to reside in the Kalamazoo area
This is a remote-based position. You must have access to a computer, phone, and the tools necessary to work as an attorney from your home office
You must have strong organizational habits and the ability to be a self-starter
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Litigation and/or Personal Injury Law experience is a plus, but not a requirement
