Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney to manage a full caseload of personal injury matters. The role involves evaluating claims, drafting legal documents, conducting research, negotiating settlements, and advocating for clients in court throughout California.

Responsibilities

Manage a full caseload of personal injury matters from start to finish
Evaluate potential claims and provide legal guidance to prospective clients
Draft, review, and revise legal documents including claims, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, subpoenas, and memorandums
Conduct legal research on case law and premises liability; gather and analyze insurance policies, medical records, expenses, and other relevant evidence (Westlaw experience preferred)
Communicate effectively with clients, expert witnesses, insurance adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers
Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients to secure the best possible outcomes
Make court appearances for hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation matters throughout California
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case information in the firm’s case management system
Lead and support a team of paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, litigation staff, and legal secretaries
Track and manage deadlines, appointments, and court dates in compliance with the California Code of Civil Procedure
Calculate damages, costs, and compensation figures to support settlement breakdowns for clients and insurance carriers

Required

Juris Doctor (JD) degree
Active license and good standing with the California State Bar
Strong negotiation, communication, and litigation skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines with precision and professionalism
Commitment to client service and high-quality legal advocacy

Preferred

1–5 years of Plaintiff Personal Injury experience strongly preferred
