Talent Bridge is recruiting for a well-established manufacturer of roof and floor truss systems. They are seeking an experienced and motivated Roof & Floor Truss Salesperson to manage and expand business within the Chicago metropolitan area, focusing on account management and new business growth in the construction markets.

Staffing & Recruiting

Responsibilities

Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of clients within the Chicago region
Identify and develop new business opportunities in residential and commercial construction markets
Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications to prepare accurate quotes
Utilize truss design software to support pricing and solution development
Coordinate with internal design, production, and logistics teams to ensure project execution
Provide responsive customer service and technical support throughout the sales cycle
Track sales activity, client communication, and project milestones using internal systems
Maintain strong professional relationships with builders, contractors, and project stakeholders

Qualification

Required

Minimum 3 years of experience in truss sales, building materials sales, or a related construction field
Solid understanding of structural framing systems and wood components
Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
Experience with truss design software (e.g., MiTek, Alpine, or comparable platforms)
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing a defined sales territory
Valid driver's license required
