GAV & Associates Inc. is an award-winning architecture, design, and planning firm based in Southeast Michigan. They are seeking an Architectural Designer / Project Manager responsible for managing architectural projects from initial concept through construction completion.

Architecture & Planning

Responsibilities

Prepare, coordinate, and complete schematic design and construction document packages

Develop architectural designs and produce complete drawing sets using AutoCAD in accordance with current GAV and AIA standards

Compile full construction document sets from start to finish

Attend and actively participate in meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies

Perform project code reviews and ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations

Monitor project scope, schedules, budgets, and overall progress

Allocate and track level of effort across project phases to maintain compliance with fees and timelines

Keep management informed of progress, challenges, or resource needs

Collaborate with and assist team members as needed to support overall project success
