RMC Facilities Services, Inc. is seeking a Commercial Field Superintendent to oversee daily operations at commercial construction and tenant improvement projects. The role involves coordinating subcontractors, monitoring job site safety, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to high-quality standards.

Staffing & Recruiting

Responsibilities

Manage daily field operations for tenant improvement projects (carpeting, painting, furniture relocation)
Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA and site safety regulations
Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
Monitor quality, maintain documentation, and track project progress
Review project plans, scopes, RFIs, and submittals
Coordinate inspections and permit requirements
Travel between job sites; manage night and weekend work as required with accommodations
Support Project Managers and escalate issues when necessary

Qualification

Required

Minimum 2 years of construction or field supervision experience
High school diploma or GED
Knowledge of commercial construction trades and terminology
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
OSHA safety standards knowledge
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; MS Project a plus
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of independent work
Legally authorized to work in the U.S
