Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, PTOs, aftertreatment systems, and electrical faults
Troubleshoot hydraulic systems including pumps, motors, and cylinders
Use diagnostic software (Cummins INSITE, CAT ET, Allison DOC, Detroit, etc.)
Perform root-cause diagnostics, not guesswork
Rebuild hydraulic components (preferred)
Optional: rebuild engines, differentials, and transmissions
Qualification
Required
Strong diagnostic experience with diesel and hydraulic systems
Proficient with computer-based diagnostic platforms
Capable of rebuilding hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and motors
High integrity, steady temperament, and strong personal discipline
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Self-motivated, independent worker
No formal education, license, or certifications required
Preferred
4+ years of diesel or heavy-duty mechanic experience
Rebuild hydraulic components
Engine or transmission rebuild experience is a plus
Welding/fabrication ability preferred but not required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus
Rebuild engines, differentials, and transmissions
