Talent Bridge is seeking experienced Sheet Metal/Fiberglass Mechanics to join a field operations team. In this role, you’ll use your technical skills to install ductwork and assist with HVAC equipment layout while supporting project success by mentoring helpers.

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints and submittal data for accurate installations
Perform basic layout tasks including duct hanger placement and equipment positioning
Install sheet metal and duct board systems, including elbows, offsets, and plenums
Accurately cut and measure ductwork materials for both metal and fiberglass installations
Operate independently under direction from the Foreman
Train and supervise helpers when necessary
Maintain safe and clean working conditions on-site
Adhere to current mechanical codes, safety standards, and best practices
Communicate clearly with the team to keep projects on track

Required

Minimum 5 years of HVAC experience
Strong ability to read blueprints and submittals
Skilled in sheet metal and fiberglass (duct board) fabrication and installation
Able to work unsupervised once directed
Able to train and guide helpers efficiently
Required Certifications: OSHA 30
Forklift & Material Lift Certification

Preferred

Crane Signal Certification
Education: High School Diploma or GED
