Preparing and analyzing financial statements
Ensuring compliance with GAAP standards
Managing general ledger activities
Supporting month-end and year-end closings
Reconciling accounts
Preparing budgets
Forecasting
Maintaining accurate financial records
Collaborating with leadership to design and implement scalable financial systems and processes
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, and financial reconciliations
Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP compliance, financial reporting, and tax regulations
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
Proficiency in financial modeling and the creation of board-ready financial dashboards
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
Capacity to work effectively in a remote and independent environment, with access to necessary technology
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Preferred
CPA or CMA certification preferred but not mandatory
Prior experience in SaaS, eCommerce, real estate, or nonprofit industries is considered an asset
