They are looking for an experienced Finance Director to manage and oversee all financial operations, including accounting, mergers and acquisitions analysis, tax compliance, and financial forecasting.

Responsibilities

Oversee all fiscal operations, ensuring compliance with Canadian and international financial regulations

Supervise accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger

Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards

Conduct financial analysis and due diligence for potential M&A opportunities

Work closely with leadership to assess the financial and strategic fit of potential acquisitions

Prepare and file corporate income and sales tax returns for both Canadian and U.S. operations

Stay current with international tax laws to ensure compliance with all relevant tax policies

Oversee QuickBooks Online (QBO) management for accurate financial reporting and bookkeeping

Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial data within the system

Manage cash flow to maintain the financial stability of the organization

Develop and maintain profit and loss (P&L) statements and cash flow forecasts to inform decision-making
