Responsibilities
Manage and grow an established portfolio of construction clients
Identify and develop new business opportunities within residential and commercial markets
Review and interpret construction drawings to prepare accurate quotations
Utilize truss design software to propose efficient structural solutions
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure project execution meets customer requirements
Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client communication, and project milestones
Provide consistent customer support throughout the sales cycle
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of experience in truss sales or related building materials industry
Strong knowledge of structural framing and wood components
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Experience with truss design software (e.g., MiTek, Alpine, or equivalent)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
Ability to manage a defined sales territory independently
Ability to travel locally as required for job-related duties
Valid driver's license where legally required for job-related travel
