This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment on-site to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy mobile equipment including loaders, excavators, haul trucks, and service vehicles
Perform preventive maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and system inspections
Respond to equipment breakdowns in the field and complete timely repairs
Maintain accurate maintenance and service records
Operate a fully equipped service truck and manage tools, parts, and supplies
Follow all site safety procedures and applicable health, safety, and environmental standards
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in diesel or heavy equipment mechanics
Technical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Relevant certifications or technical training (e.g., diesel mechanics, heavy equipment repair, ASE)
Ability to work independently in field environments
Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required
Ability to safely perform job duties in accordance with applicable safety standards
Ability to use required personal protective equipment (PPE), with reasonable accommodation provided where required by law
