Responsibilities
Handle litigation, transactional, and prosecution matters across copyright, trademark, patent, and other areas of intellectual property
Diversify practice to include trademark prosecution, technology transactions, and IP counseling / strategy
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in intellectual property litigation in patent, trademark, copyright, or similar matters
Entrepreneurial mindset with self-starter attitude and ability to work independently
Exceptional legal writing skills with demonstrated ability to write persuasively
Strong legal research capabilities
Excellent oral communication and advocacy skills
Proven ability to triage and prioritize critical litigation tasks in a dynamic environment
Strong work ethic and continued interest in learning and developing legal skills
Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing
Preferred
Big law firm experience, particularly at Am Law 100 firm
Courtroom experience, including trial, motion practice, and/or oral argument
Experience working with technical and damages experts
Mandarin language proficiency (reading and speaking)
