Start in 2026 SpringTalent Bridge is seeking a Health & Safety Intern for Summer 2026 who is passionate about sustainability, safety, and continuous improvement. This 10-week paid internship offers hands-on experience in ensuring safe operations, updating safety programs, and supporting plant personnel and contractors in the field.

Responsibilities
Work with plant personnel and contractors to ensure safe operating practices
Revitalize, update, and relaunch current safety programs
Perform field inspections, troubleshoot issues, and document safety observations
Manage assigned safety projects from start to finish
Support continuous improvement initiatives in safety and operational procedures
Communicate effectively with employees at all levels and maintain positive working relationships
Perform other duties as assigned to support the Health & Safety team
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, database systems, and analytics tools
Comfortable spending time in the field and learning business operations first-hand
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software quickly
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated teamwork, adaptability, initiative, and integrity
