Responsibilities
Kindly greeting patients
Scheduling and coordinating patient procedures for Radiology according to department protocols while ensuring an environment which promotes a positive patient experience
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Computer skills required
Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Two (2) years- experience in a hospital or health care related field
Good verbal skills in the English language required daily
Excellent telephone skills required
Ability to learn use of all equipment necessary to perform job
Excellent PC skills including data entry required
Ability to adapt in fast paced, stressful environment
Working knowledge of medical terminology to include diagnosis/CPT codes
Accurate grammar, spelling and punctuation skills necessary
Work is performed in accordance with instruction and procedures, but requires the ability to recognize problem situations and refer them to the appropriate staff member
Preferred
Advanced computer skills preferred
Greater than two (2) years- experience in a hospital or health care related field, preferably radiology
