Talent Bridge is hiring a Commercial Service Plumber for one of their clients. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and installing commercial plumbing systems while ensuring professional service and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain piping, fixtures, water heaters/boilers, recirculation systems, PRVs, commercial faucets/flushometers, and backflow assemblies

Perform hydro-jetting, drain cabling, sewer camera inspections, smoke testing, slab leak detection, grease trap maintenance, and minor pipe replacement

Install small commercial plumbing projects, coordinate with project managers for quoted work

Ensure compliance with NC Plumbing Code, OSHA safety standards, ADA accessibility requirements, and site rules

Document work accurately using tablets or work order systems

Communicate with facility managers/owners regarding diagnostics, pricing, and post-service summaries

Participate in on-call rotation for emergency plumbing issues

Collaborate with dispatch, warehouse, and vendors; mentor apprentices as assigned

Required

3+ years in commercial plumbing service (restaurants, commercial kitchens, hotels, multifamily, wellness/fitness, or light industrial). Residential experience a plus

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training/apprenticeship preferred

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Physical requirements: able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation (lifting up to 75 lbs, climbing ladders, working in mechanical rooms/ceilings)

Proficient with plumbing diagnostic equipment (CCTV, locators, leak detection), hydro-jetters, drain machines, press systems, solder/braze/PVC/PEX/black iron; boiler and domestic hot-water systems; recirc balancing; ADA fixture and retrofit standards

Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and professional client interaction skills

Preferred

Preferred licenses/certifications: NC Plumbing Technician/Contractor license, Backflow Prevention Tester, OSHA-10/30, confined space awareness, lift certification
