Talent Bridge is seeking a Site Survey & Service Technician to support residential solar installation projects. This field-based role combines technical site assessments with post-installation troubleshooting and service support, requiring hands-on experience with rooftop evaluations and residential electrical systems.

Staffing & Recruiting

Responsibilities

Conduct pre-installation site surveys, including roof measurements, shading analysis, and electrical assessments
Evaluate structural and electrical readiness for residential solar installations
Document service panels, disconnects, roof penetrations, and access points using approved digital tools
Perform service calls and troubleshoot solar systems, including inverters, rapid shutdown devices, and AC/DC disconnects
Make safe electrical adjustments within main service panels and inverter systems as required
Coordinate findings with project managers and installation teams to support accurate project planning
Maintain professional communication with homeowners and project stakeholders
Follow all safety procedures when working at heights and around electrical systems

Required

2–3+ years of experience in solar site surveys, service, or residential solar installation
Working knowledge of residential solar electrical systems and rooftop assessments
Ability to safely work on and around electrical equipment
Experience using field documentation or solar design software (or willingness to learn)
Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and cloud-based tools
Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights, with or without reasonable accommodation
