This role is responsible for driving mechanical maintenance performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and leading teams toward safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

Responsibilities
Act as a visible leader supporting safety, health, and environmental standards
Ensure optimal performance and availability of plant mechanical equipment
Lead the development and execution of mechanical maintenance plans and improvement programs
Oversee installation, repair, and replacement of mechanical equipment using standard procedures
Track maintenance effectiveness, reduce rework, and document procedural improvements
Lead mechanical capital replacement projects
Manage mechanical team workloads, including outage and holiday coverage
Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for mechanical maintenance staff
Develop and manage annual maintenance budgets aligned with production goals
Promote a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Prior site or plant leadership experience required
5–10 years of combined leadership and industrial or cement industry experience
Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills
Experience in maintenance planning and system implementation
Ability to work safely in an industrial plant environment
Ability to use required tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE), with reasonable accommodations provided where required by law
