Responsibilities

Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems for bridges and transportation projects
Prepare structural design calculations, cost estimates, drawings, specifications, and reports
Develop design solutions and contract drawings using MicroStation or AutoCAD
Work within a multidisciplinary team to develop and optimize design solutions
Participate in project meetings and communicate with clients under supervision

Required

In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
3.0 GPA
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Strong interest in structural/ bridge engineering

Preferred

In pursuit of a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering and/or Structural Engineering
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and/or MicroStation
A previous internship related to structures or bridge design
Experience with engineering analysis software (e.g., Sap2000, CsiBridge, Risa 3D, Larsa, Midas, etc.)
Experience or interest in programming/ design optimization software (Python, Rhino, Grasshopper, etc.)
Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
