Staff Accountant, Environmental Services-FT
Bishop Gadsden Episcopal Retirement Community is seeking a Staff Accountant to support their Environmental Services department while working closely with the Finance team. This role involves processing purchases and invoices, managing project costs, and ensuring accuracy in financial processes.

Responsibilities
Process purchases and invoices accurately and on time using PN3 and Sage
Assist with inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, and physical inventory as needed
Review and code Accounts Payable entries, reconcile vendor accounts, and ensure proper G/L coding
Manage project costs, assign project numbers, and conduct financial analysis
Reconcile credit card statements and assist with audit schedules
Help maintain best-practice accounting controls and support fixed asset tracking
Collaborate with team members while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in Accounting or 2–3 years of related experience
Strong knowledge of budgeting and accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and communicate effectively
Excellent interpersonal skills for working with colleagues and vendors
Preferred
Experience in construction or project management accounting preferred, but not required
