IS Sales Operations Intern

Donaldson is committed to solving the world’s most complex filtration challenges, and they are seeking an IS Sales Operations Intern to support sales operations and business development initiatives. This role involves collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders, executing outbound campaigns, and maintaining customer data across CRM and other business tools.

Responsibilities

Help plan and execute outbound campaigns in priority markets across Africa and the wider EMEA region; support ongoing initiatives including trade shows and webinars
Make cold calls and follow-up calls to customers to maximize campaign outcomes; log all customer interactions accurately to support reporting and insights
Drive the creation of Territory Action Plans (TAPs) for African territories; analyze territories and customer segments to identify growth opportunities and possible challenges
Contribute ideas to support growth of key accounts, distributors, and strategic channels
Document findings clearly to support decision-making and team follow-up; collaborate with relevant teams to ensure TAP insights translate to measurable action plans, feeding into training, outreach campaigns, and process improvements initiatives
Maintain and clean customer data across CRM and other business tools
Support regular data quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance
Transfer data between systems such as Outreach and CRM; manage subscription and consent data

Required

Matric Grade 12
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Good organizational and administration skills

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Sales Management, or Business Management
Requires full professional fluency in English; any additional language is a plus
Comfortable working with international teams across different regions
Proactive, self-starting mindset with a strong sense of responsibility; able to work independently and take ownership of tasks
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Well organized with good attention to detail
Confident using digital tools such as CRM, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office
Positive, curious, and motivated to learn
