They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lighting Chief Engineer to work with OEM partners and development teams to drive Mechanical, Optical, and electronic development for their lamp programs.

Responsibilities

Evaluating technical customer product requirements
Steering the creation of product system requirement specification based on the product use-cases
Act as an intermediary between our OEM and product engineers to create alignment in a number of domains (subsystems, modules, definition and validation of interface specifications, requirements, system integration, and team collaboration agreements)
Managing the product test strategy in alignment with system integration planning

Qualification

Automotive lighting developmentMechanical engineeringOptical engineeringElectronic engineeringOEM collaborationProblem solving

Required

5+ years experience conducting automotive lighting development
Minimum of 3 fully designed lamps from RFQ to production
Experience / knowledge in multiple lighting engineering areas (mechanical, optical, electronics)
Experience working with OEMs at a high level for current program development
Out of the box problem solving abilities
