The role involves providing exceptional service as the first point of contact for assigned membership, coordinating wellness events, and maintaining relationships with members and providers to ensure quality care coordination.

Responsibilities

The Quality HEDIS Coordinator provides "best in class" service and is the first point of contact, ambassador and concierge for assigned region/membership

Utilizes skills to retain members in the assigned provider practices and supports new membership after the initial enrollment period

Coordinates in office wellness events as a result of interventions management to improve gap closures in the field

Coordinates with Health Education and contacts members telephonically to schedule them for appointments

Participates in the Member Advisory and Provider Advisory Meetings as needed

Maintains superior member/provider relationships and ensures the highest quality of care coordination

Required

High School Grad or Equivalent

One-year customer service experience

Analytical skills – proficient using Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel

Openly and actively communicates information and takes initiative to communicate extensively

Ability to handle difficult situations diplomatically

Effective interpersonal skills, collaboration, and listening skills

Ability to build strong relationships within and outside the health plan

Negotiation skills

Preferred

Experience with Medical Records

One-year experience in a member and/or provider engagement role

Medicare/Medicaid/Commercial experience/knowledge
