The Consulting Art Director will help make Cripple Media’s visual identity feel cohesive across social platforms and key storytelling moments, collaborating closely with the founder and editorial team to refine visual systems and provide creative direction.

Help make Cripple Media’s visual identity feel cohesive across social platforms and key storytelling moments
Collaborate closely with the founder and editorial team to refine visual systems and bring Cripple Media’s storytelling to life through one editorial photoshoot
Provide creative direction and visual feedback to ensure all assets feel aligned, intentional, and distinctly Cripple Media
Qualification
Required
Editorial experience required, with a strong understanding of visual storytelling
Early- to mid-level experience in art direction, design, or creative roles
Strong editorial taste and a clear visual point of view
Ability to maintain visual cohesion across social platforms and digital formats
Experience providing creative direction and thoughtful visual feedback
Comfortable collaborating with founders, editors, photographers, and designers
Organized, communicative, and able to work independently within a flexible, project-based structure
Preferred
Familiarity with fashion, culture, or media environments preferred
Identifying as disabled is preferred; if not, applicants should demonstrate familiarity with or interest in disability culture
