Responsibilities

Conduct market analysis, competitive assessments, and identify emerging trends
Develop business cases, market requirements documents (MRDs), and financial models
Lead customer insights programs and translate VOC into actionable product requirements
Manage the orthopedic robotics product pipeline and lifecycle
Support global strategy alignment and regional adaptation for product positioning and pricing
Develop global launch strategy in close coordination with downstream partners
Define resource needs based on expected product development roadmap and support VP, Marketing, Autonomous Robotics to build upstream marketing team
Develop upstream marketing best practices and playbooks to leverage for future product introduction
Collaboration with KOL to understand advancements in Ortho Robotics
Execute above responsibilities in close collaboration with R&D, Regulatory, Clinical, Finance, and Downstream Marketing teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or Life Sciences; MBA preferred
10+ years of experience in upstream marketing, product management, or strategic marketing within medical devices
Proven ability to build and lead upstream marketing teams
Proven ability to develop strategic plans, business cases, and financial models
Proven ability to collaborate and drive problem-solving cross-functionally
Track record of successful global product launch
Strong understanding of surgical workflows, orthopedic procedures, and robotic-assisted surgery preferred
Analytical and strategic thinking
Cross-functional collaboration
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Technical aptitude in surgical robotics or equivalent technology
Familiarity with regulatory compliance, CRM tools, and market research methodologies

MBA preferred
Strong understanding of surgical workflows, orthopedic procedures, and robotic-assisted surgery preferred
