The Program Financial Analyst will support the financial management of programs by assisting with data analysis, generating reports, and monitoring financial performance, while collaborating closely with Program Managers and the finance team.

Responsibilities

Partner with and provide guidance to Program Managers and leadership related to the financial performance of contracts

Assist Program Managers and leadership with tracking and reporting the financial performance of programs

Support the preparation of monthly financial forecasts, invoices, and program reporting

Help monitor program budgeting, controls, performance, and variance analysis including supporting program reviews and helping program managers with cost reduction efforts including early identification of forecast shortfalls and the timely execution of countermeasures and variance analysis process

Support program revenue recognition and cash forecasting including managing, coordinating, and maintaining the financial and planning activities of the business's program portfolio, including monthly bookings/sales/EBITA/cash flow forecasting and analysis

Contribute to proposal pricing efforts, preparing financial tables, and supporting payment schedule/milestone tracking

Participate in initiatives to improve program financial reporting processes

Required

Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline

2+ years in related discipline

A combination of education and experience equivalent to above

Strong financial acumen and ability to demonstrate understanding of financial systems and processes

Excellent people skills, with experience leading and collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment

Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation)

Experience with cost/schedule development, budgeting, Customer/Management reporting, and forecasting. Able to build, communicate, and effectively manage a budget and business plan

Prior government contracting experience

Self-motivated with the ability to work consistently and efficiently to achieve organizational goals

Excellent ability to multi-task and manage simultaneous projects and initiatives

Strong planning, organization, critical thinking, decision-making skills and problem-solving aptitude

High degree of confidentiality, maturity, tactfulness and business ethics

Experience with Deltek Costpoint ERP software
