Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability
Use of Fortinet suite (Fortigate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager) as well as managing and maintaining F5 load balancers
Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, breaches, and other vulnerabilities
Configure and manage network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls
Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration guides, and policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network requirements for various projects and initiatives
Perform network capacity planning and optimization to meet future business needs
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in network technologies and best practices
Provide technical support and guidance to other IT staff and end-users
Communicate project status, challenges, and successes to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related field, such as Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience
15+ years of using Fortinet suite (Fortigate, FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager) as well as managing and maintaining F5 load balancers
Experience of network engineering LAN/WAN
Experience with routing protocols
Active Top Secret clearance
U.S Citizenship
