Director – Sales & Partnerships (North America)
DWAO is a global digital experience consulting firm making its strategic entry into the U.S. market, seeking its first U.S. Sales Leader. The role involves business acquisition, partnership development, and shaping the go-to-market strategy for the region, focusing on high-value consulting services and building relationships within the Adobe partner ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Identify and acquire net-new enterprise accounts within the Martech, CDP, and Analytics space
Own the complete sales cycle: Prospecting → Discovery → Solutioning (with Pre-Sales support) → Proposal → Negotiation → Close
Focus on selling high-value consulting services, implementation projects, and managed services retainers
Establish and deepen DWAO’s relationship with Adobe North America, moEngage and Google
Build co-sell motions with Adobe Account Executives (AEs), Partner Development Managers (PDMs), and Customer Success Managers (CSMs)
Secure 3–5 active referral relationships with complementary agencies and consultancies
Shape the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for the region
Provide critical feedback on pricing, positioning, and competitive intelligence to global leadership
Establish the foundations (CRM hygiene, pipeline handover, sales process) for a future 3–5 member U.S. sales team
Build a $2M+ qualified pipeline through a mix of outbound efforts and Adobe ecosystem networking
Enable $600K+ in closed revenue to establish firm U.S. market momentum
Win 4–5 strategic deals averaging $125K–$200K TCV
Successfully navigate the Adobe Summit and establish DWAO as a 'go-to' partner for specific niche capabilities (e.g., CJA or RT-CDP migrations)
Qualification
Required
7–12 years in Enterprise Sales, specifically selling Professional Services (Consulting/Implementation) rather than SaaS licenses
Proven history of closing deals in the $100K–$300K range
Experience working with offshore/global delivery teams to scope and price complex projects
You are comfortable with ambiguity. You don't need a massive marketing budget to generate leads; you know how to network, leverage partners, and hunt
Preferred
Deep familiarity with the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem (AEM, Analytics, or CDP) is highly preferred
