The IT System Administrator Intern will support the creation of ServiceNow service maps for critical applications, collaborating with IT teams to document and visualize infrastructure dependencies.

Responsibilities
Support the organization’s efforts in building accurate and comprehensive ServiceNow service maps for its top ten business-critical applications
Identify, document, and map all infrastructure and application-level dependencies including servers, switches, databases, APIs, and other components required to support each critical application
Translate information into formal service maps within ServiceNow
Collaborate with IT teams and product owners to capture technical and business requirements
Validate dependencies and create visual flow diagrams using Visio to support clear documentation and understanding of each service
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new tools and technologies
Ability to interpret and work with process diagrams, role matrices, and group schemas
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Understanding of IT infrastructure, including software deployment and management
Understanding of Active Directory, user roles, and group-based access controls
Comfortable working with role-based access control (RBAC) concepts
Previous experience in system administration
