Pipe Stress Engineer

Cimarron Software is seeking a Pipe Stress Engineer to support the Engineering and Manufacturing Development phase of the Sentinel program. Responsibilities

Perform pipe stress analysis of piping systems in accordance with ASME B31.3 Code
Model piping systems to verify flexibility, stability, and qualification of equipment nozzle loads
Collaborate with layout personnel and pipe support engineers to ensure quality and cost-effective designs
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as needed
Apply standard plant design and piping engineering methods, using independent judgment for adaptations and modifications
Participate in design reviews and recommend approval of drawings and data for compliance with requirements
Analyze conflicting design requirements and develop potential solutions
Evaluate the suitability of unconventional materials, techniques, or coordination requirements
Coordinate plant design engineering activities with specialty groups, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders

Required

6 or more years of related experience
Working knowledge of dynamic analysis and ASME B31.3 or B31.1 Codes
Prior experience using the pipe stress analysis program, Bentley AutoPipe
Bachelor's degree

Previous DoD project experience
EIT or PE Registration
Previous Bechtel project experience
