Responsibilities
Prepare analyses of monthly trustee statements on all bond issues (multi-family and single-family)
Troubleshoot any errors found in the trustee statements as a result of the analyses
Prepare the records and journal entries necessary to reflect accurately on the general ledger, with sufficient documentation to assure an audit trail
Review and analyze all revenues and expenses to assure reasonableness
Research any discrepancy or problem, making the necessary correction in the general ledger, revenue or expense accounts
Generate and review monthly transaction listings, trial balances, balance sheets and income statements
Serves as a backup to other finance department personnel
Invoices and monitors single family down payment assistance loans to ensure timely repayment and satisfaction
Performs annual internal audit of outstanding single family down payment assistance loans
Maintains and manages database systems containing Authority information
Perform other accounting duties, as assigned
Qualification
Required
Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a combination of education
Three (3) years of college education
Finance & Accounting: 3 years
Microsoft Excel: 3 years
Microsoft Access: 1 year
