Responsibilities
Process customer orders, including scanning barcodes, labeling boxes, picking products, and preparing packages for shipment
Palletizing tasks such as scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders on pallets
Re-palletizing products for shipment
May handle dock manifest duties, including scanning completed pallets and operating the shrink wrapper
Operate the ground/manual manifest station if required
Transport pallets using material handling equipment as needed
Ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner following departmental standards and procedures
Maintain a clean work area in compliance with Quality System Regulations (QSR)
Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Prioritize safety and adhere to practices designed to prevent injuries and illnesses
Maintain regular and reliable attendance at work
Qualification
Required
Effective communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment
Read and interpret distribution documents
Collaborate well with other employees
Work under minimal supervision
Operate material handling equipment and RF scanner
Perform in a metrics-driven environment
Operate an electric pallet jack if required
Basic analytical and organizational skills
Good prioritization skills
General computer, distribution, and QSR knowledge
High school diploma or GED required
Good basic math skills
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written and oral form
Adaptability to shifting priorities
