Responsibilities

Gravimetric/titrimetric testing methods (pH, moisture, fat, protein)
Sample receiving
Preparing samples for analysis
Analyzing samples via written SOPs
Evaluating/interpreting data
Troubleshooting problems
Disposing of samples
Cleaning/sanitizing the laboratory and equipment
Performing daily QC
Other duties as assigned
Sample preparation coverage in our Microbiology Lab when necessary

Qualification

Laboratory experienceFood testingAnalytical instrumentationAseptic techniqueData entryMultitaskingAttention to detailCommunication skills

Required

A high school diploma or GED (required)
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency with data entry and computer applications
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory

Preferred

An Associate's Degree in Chemistry or related field
1+ years of laboratory experience
Experience With Food Testing And/or Analytical Instrumentation
