Responsibilities
Serves as first point of contact with anyone coming into the office
Verifies appointment inquiries and announces probationers to appropriate team member upon arrival for appointment
Obtains intake information from probationers and creates case folders
Maintains database of all probation cases and tracks case status and deadlines to ensure cases do not expire
Receives, screens and refers calls to appropriate team members, officials or departments
Tracks and files all warrant and closed cases
Assists all team members as needed
Qualification
Required
Graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma
Three (3) years' of experience in customer service duties involving frequent public contact
One (1) year of experience using a personal computer and related software required
Must possess a valid Florida driver's license
Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written and visual communication
Knowledge of standard office methods and procedures
Ability to maintain records/files, prepare reports and correspondence
Ability to meet and deal with the public effectively and courteously, and disseminate information
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the public
Ability to communicate effectively via telephone, in person, in writing and on-line
Ability to read for comprehension
Ability to use a computer and related software
Ability to establish and maintain files accurately and legibly
Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions
Preferred
Bilingual in English and Spanish
