The Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting the technology platform for an Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS), focusing on building a scalable and resilient application environment for real-time grid operations.

Responsibilities
Designing, deploying, and supporting the technology platform for an Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS)
Building a scalable, secure, and resilient application environment that supports real-time grid operations
Qualification
Required
Experience working with ADMS, DMS, OMS, or other utility operational technologies
Strong technical experience in at least several of the following:
Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, management)
Java, Python, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
DevOps tools: GitHub, Jenkins or similar
Microservices & RESTful APIs
SQL databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL
Experience supporting or integrating complex enterprise platforms or mission-critical systems
Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with engineering, operations, and vendor stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues across multiple technical domains
Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.)
Knowledge of utility operational workflows, SCADA integration, or real-time systems
Experience implementing high-availability platforms and disaster recovery environments
