Senior Project Executive
The Lignum Group is a growing building envelope contractor specializing in high-value façade systems. They are seeking a Senior Project Executive to oversee procurement, scheduling, budgeting, production, logistics, and installation for their expanding façade division.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily project activities in line with project scope
Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules
Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and internal standards
Coordinate and resolve site-related issues
Provide documentation for field fixes and As-Built drawings
Assist in selecting tools, equipment, and rigging for varied scopes of work
Support the creation and communication of site safety plans
Maintain tracking logs for project progress, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and deliveries
Participate in weekly internal project meetings and provide status updates
Submit and monitor purchase order requests
Verify material takeoffs prepared by the design team
Oversee shop and field coordination, including packaging and crating for fabrication
Generate logistics drawings such as crating plans, installation sequencing, and equipment layouts
Review shop drawings and coordinate critical details with production and installation teams
Use project management software (e.g., Smartsheet) to maintain WBS and track project metrics
Coordinate schedules and material deliveries with on-site teams and general contractors
Attend and participate in contractor site meetings
Manage project submittals, change proposals, shop drawings, and change orders
Perform other duties as needed to support successful project delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture
8+ years of experience in façades, building envelopes, or contract glazing
Solid understanding of construction processes and jobsite equipment and rigging
Proficient in project scheduling software (e.g., Smartsheet or similar)
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with PDF editing tools such as Bluebeam or Adobe
Basic knowledge of CAD software is a plus
Willingness to travel as required
Able to work across office, production, and field environments
