Senior Associate, Network Planning Engineer

Responsibilities
Assess telecommunications technologies and design solutions to ensure alignment with the FAA/FTI network’s critical infrastructure and service requirements
Architect and engineer next-generation telco services to replace legacy copper-based solutions with modern, scalable alternatives
Deliver tailored network implementations that meet dynamic customer requirements and long-term strategic objectives
Establish and apply best practices in network design, capacity planning, and service continuity to support mission-critical operations
Oversee the telco design release lifecycle to ensure timely execution and alignment with program milestones
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience
Must possess prior knowledge and experience with communications engineering designs, service solutions and implementation processes
MEF 2.0 certification and/or equivalent level experience
CCNA Certification or equivalent work experience
Ability to obtain security clearance
Preferred
Strong skill set with Microsoft Office software applications
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to design, implement and support Ethernet and TDM network infrastructures
Knowledge of telecommunications carrier ordering systems and processes
Experience with database modeling software such as MetaSolv
