Responsibilities

Follow all safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and required PPE guidelines

Perform basic machining operations such as milling, drilling, tapping, turning, and deburring

Operate manual machine shop equipment according to established work instructions

Assist with basic machine setup and tool preparation

Report defective materials, irregularities, or questionable conditions to the supervisor

Follow all prescribed quality and documentation standards

Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety regulations

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Support daily production activities as assigned

Take pride in craftsmanship and contribute to a positive, collaborative environment

Required

Able to read and interpret simple drawings and work instructions

Familiar with basic shop math

Comfortable using basic measuring tools

Good verbal and written communication

Basic computer skills required for documentation and training

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, repetitively at times
