Responsibilities
Prepare detailed HVAC and mechanical estimates (labor, materials, equipment, subs, and general conditions)
Develop conceptual and design/build budgets using sound technical judgment
Perform takeoffs for ductwork, piping, and mechanical systems
Coordinate vendor and subcontractor pricing and evaluate proposals
Identify constructability issues and value-engineering opportunities
Support project handoffs and early procurement
Qualification
Required
7+ years of commercial mechanical/HVAC estimating experience
Strong knowledge of ductwork, HVAC piping (including VRF), and mechanical systems
Experience with design/build and conceptual estimating
Proficient with estimating software (Wenduct, FastEST, Trimble, or similar)
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Interest or experience in estimating leadership
